TUAM ROAD


The site is currently occupied by the Galway Plate Restaurant, a single storey building.

The scheme to redevelop the site allows for 2 levels of underground parking – Restaurant at ground floor level, two floors of specialist uses ie medical/para medical suites and 12 apartments over 3/4 floors.

The building has been designed from the offset as a low energy project with natural lighting and ventilation and passive solar gain driving the design.  Active measures will include geothermic boreholes and a pellet burning stove to serve the entire building.

Energy consumption is expected to be close to our Foster Street project making this one of the lowest energy consumption mixed developments in Ireland.
